Crime: Hovey Street Murders
*Editor’s Note: Once again, this is a story I knew absolutely NOTHING about. Sometimes I feel “guilty” when seeing things like this…the guilt I feel is because I feel like I SHOULD know about these things. I feel guilty because I wish that I could save people. How does your mind even work up enough thought to want to murder anyone cold blood..but ESPECIALLY children? A child can give me a ‘sad face’on the right day and Im putty in their hands. I couldn’t imagine the look of distress on a child’s face right before you pull the trigger.

Police are looking for two unidentified men seen running from a home where two women and two children were fatally shot Monday night, and Sheriff Frank Anderson on Tuesday said Indianapolis police won’t rest until they arrest whoever killed the four.
“I can only say there’s a special place in hell for you, and we’re going to see that you get there,” Anderson said, referring to the gunman or gunmen.
Officers responding to a report of shots fired found three people dead and a 4-month-old girl wounded in a home in the 3200 block of Hovey Street at about 10:45 p.m. Monday, police said. The baby later died at Methodist Hospital.
Police identified the victims as Gina Hunt, 24; her son Jordan Hunt, 23 months; Andrea Yarrell, 24; and Yarrell’s daughter Charlii Yarrell, 4 months. Police said all four died of multiple gunshot wounds and the children were being held in the arms of their mothers during the shooting, 6News’Jack Rinehart reported.

First off Jia i just wanted to thank you for posting this story.
Jordan, Gina, Charlii & Andrea will forever be missed and as an update their killers have been found and are currently awaiting trial.

This is so terrible!!!!!!!! As a black 42yr old black woman, I am so tired of this blame GAME!! These young women made a horrific mistake and it caused them their lives!!! I feel absolutely sick about this!! However the white man didn’t pull the trigger and the white man didn’t store any drugs in the house and the white man didn’t divise the plan to kill the innocent babies that were killed! Let’s wake up and not fall asleep this.. SADLY enough; a copy cat situation I’m sure will arise, just to so killer can “make” a name for himself!! As a taxpayer I believe that this street warriors sure be on the front line of IRAQ!! After all they “are” terriorist!

This is a horrific story. What kind of animal kills defenseless women and babies? There certainly is a special place in hell for them. They will suffer through all eternity.

I PREGNANT WHEN I FIRST HEARD AND I HAVE HONESTLY NEVER FELT SO SAD ABOUT ANYTHING THAT I HAVE READ IN THE NEWS IT WAS ON MY HEART TO LOOK THIS STORY UP TO FIND OUT IF THE KILLERS WERE FOUND AND I AM SO HAPPY THAT THEY WERE BUT THAT DOESNT TAKE THE PAIN AWAY JUST KNOWING THAT ITS THOSE TYPE OF PEOPLE IN THE WORLD I FEAR FOR OUR CHILDREN I DONT KNOW THESE PEOPLE BUT THESE WOMEN AND THESE CHILDREN HAVE A PLACE IN MY HEART AND I HOPE THEY REST IN PEACE

The first thug has been sentenced to 245 years. To Avoid death, he plead guilty but of course wouldnt admit he pulled the trigger although EVERYONE KNOWS HE DID! He will die in prison but hopefully will be killed the next murderous thug Jasper Frazier is up next.
